Happy Endometriosis Awareness Month!

Happy March, AKA Endometriosis Awareness Month!

I have been MIA because I want to do a series of posts of some remedies that have been helping my endometriosis symptoms. I wanted to give them time to work and see if they lasted more than a period cycle. I do believe that it is back especially on my left ovary when I menstruate and lean up against something I feel mild discomfort, similar to before when I had my surgeries.

Life Updates:
Holidays:
We had an awesome time with family on Thanksgiving and Christmas, we used the same vegan recipes from the previous year, so yummy!
Grammie's apple pie veganized.

Nick and I also took a trip to Disneyland, it has always been on our bucket lists to see Disney at Christmas and it was also amazing to see Galaxy's Edge! We can't wait to go back and see the new Rise of the Resistance ride and the hundreds of new vegan menu options coming in April! I was a little worried my endo would flare up while being on my feet for so long every day, but I did run out of spoons each day. (Spoon Theory)

Endometriosis Awareness Month:
Arizona's Governor, Doug Ducey declared March Endometriosis Month for the State of Arizona! This is huge to bring more awareness to Arizona. A lot of other states have marches, runs, walks and a lot of events to get the awareness out there. This is a goal of mine, but I need a little more time in a day right now.

An event that I am very excited about is, Enduring Endo. There will be several speakers and a lot of pop-up vendors who will be able to educate about endometriosis from a medical point of view. Everything from reproductive health, mental health, and my favorite physical therapy!

My Blog:
I am going to be posting about some remedies that have helped me these last few months, some great and some not so great. I need to remember that my 2020 word of the year is Focus and to focus more on what is important and the goals that I have for myself. I have some big goals this year and I am not going to succeed unless I FOCUS!

When Life Gives You Endo...figure out what works for you and go with it!
