I took this time off to reflect on a lot that has happened this year and how I wanted this new format to look like on this platform and most of it is TMI. One of my favorites things family or friends say to me is, this might be TMI but...and go on with their story. I have to interject always and say I have a blog about vaginas and periods, nothing is TMI with me!
I want to hit on a lot of random topics that some may not agree with, some may not even know is sexism in the healthcare field, and also what it is like to be a person with a uterus going into a dr visit. I have found a new naturopath dr, that I am in love with and so excited to have on my medical team now. I took a class to reclaim home (myself) that showed me how deep I can think and how strong I have become. I am also in school to become an ayurvedic health counselor and learning so much already! These are just a few topics that I am looking forward to writing on.
This quarantine has been a roller coaster of emotions from health-related issues (none COVID related, knock on wood), epiphanies, and a lot of weight being lifted from my soul. I have not had a lot of inspiration to write until recently, but I am not sure if it is because I have been out more in nature (new backyard) or I now have so much information in my head that I just need to get out, that I am looking forward to being more consistent in posting.
